Vintage Sterling Silver Compact Elgin American Dance Purse EdwardianThis rare sterling silver Elgin American powder compact with wristlet chain is in excellent condition. The gorgeous design on the on the lid appears like lace on silver in a beautiful Edwardian style design. It has a center cartouche on the lid that is engraved with the initials "SCL". This compact measures 2 1 2 inches in diameter, and is in fantastic condition, with only minor signs of any wear. No dents, dings, rust or corrosion. It is hallmarked

and it closes tight and secure

but it does have ever so slight age discoloration around the edges

The only issue to report is the one rouge compartment appears to not completely latch

the only issue we found was some enamel loss to the comb handle and a small spot on the handheld compact mirror
