A brilliant quality mint block of four with original gum (lower pair are unmounted mint, which is exceptional to find for this). A very fine ungummed imperforate block of four essays (Fig 30a) in tyrian red on white unwatermarked card mounted on thick card (88x103mm)

centrally cancelled by type D5 'BRUNEI' circular date stamp

but with the words 'Peace" removed from the design

The odd shortish perforation mentioned for accuracy only as this is a particularly prominent example of this variety
