We think the strap has faded from it's original purple to brown, since we can't find a photo of Jimi with a brown one and we hung some purple Suede outside in the sun, and it sure did turn brown! David wears it backwards from the way Jimi wore it, with the leather tab in the back rather than the front. Someone got a little punch happy on this one and

Some of the elements used on this strap were from Jeri's Mom's Christmas present
but never received a photo of him with it
