Lot 050 - Antique French Aesthetic Movement Brass Tray With Basket-Weave Ground, Branch, And Mouse Motifs, Marked FranceAntique French brass tray in an oval basket weave form with rope twist rim and two open handles, consistent with Aesthetic Movement decorative metalwork. The interior features a raised branch with leaves extending across the surface and a grouping of small mice arranged along the lower edge. Marked "France" on the reverse. The brass shows areas of green verdigris patina and general oxidation across the surface.
