The rod is in excellent condition. The only issues are a few of the guide wraps are a bit dry and will require a light varnish touch up at some point. Also, the cast aluminum butt cap has cracked most likely due to swelling cork. Thankfully the crack is in no way a hindrance to the use and function of the rod. The butt cap
