The reel is machined from solid, high grade titanium and built to last longer than any of us will! The TR 45 has no gearing, so left or right hand retrieve is possible. There is a soft clicking sound in both directions and just enough resistance to prevent overrun. The resistance on the spool is created by two over sized ball bearings and a stainless steel clicker.
