A very nicely done rod from one of the Leonard captains
The box measures 3 3/4" (L) x 2 5/8" (W) x 5/8" (D)
This is a fantastic example of an original 1950s Payne 202
The reel is in very nice mechanical condition as a result of recently receiving a re-bushing from Bill Archuleta

and has a strong click and fully functional adjustable drag with bright red indicator dots

This appears to be the second generation model of this famed anti-reverse classic saltwater reel
