Lightning Struck Juniper Incense ConesOur handmade incense cones are created with desert foraged, lightning struck Arizona juniper, trees often found clinging to steep, rocky hillsides of the high desert. In folklore, lightning struck wood is believed to hold immense spiritual energy, the force of the sudden strike said to momentarily unite earth and sky. The resin from the trees has a dry, sacred aroma redolent of sun warmed bark, wild air, and ancient ground.
