This is definitely a "buy and forget you own it" wine as I would advise not touching a bottle for at least 10 years and 15 to 20 would likely be better
weight and mid-palate concentration that coats the palate with dry extract and enrobes the firm tannic spine to the point where it is more of a background element than usual
black berry and anise hints

moving toward blacker berries
resinous element that will surely surface over the next decade or so
floral and really attractive with intense fruit
