Unused condition, however the spool has some specks in the anodizing (came from the factory like this). Some natural tarnish on the brass also exists as can be seen on the majority of these limited edition reels. The reel comes with its original Hardy leather case. In 1997 1998 Hardy Bros. made 1000 of these 3" all brass wide spool Perfects replicas of their 1890's

The grip is 5 1/2" 11 corks long and shaped to a medium cigar

The rod has oxidized square-to-round ferrules

The Payne tube has lost the felt in the brass cap

4 1/2" (9 cork) grip is lightly soiled

Rod comes with a lovely leather tube with "HLL" stamped into the top

Quarterbound in alligator leather and blue

Includes original bag and grey powder coated tube with the Scott logo and "20th Anniversary 1974-1994"

HEH is equivalent to a 5 weight line
