Bogdan Model 300 Fly Reel - RHWFor sale here is a very fine and rare Model 300 Bogdan reel. The reel is right hand retrieve and in near mint condition, with the only disclosable issues being a) very slight wear to the drag knob, and b) marks on the reel foot from being mounted on a rod, both clearly shown in the photos. You won't find many of these large salmon reels in such amazing condition. The reel comes housed in a gorgeous Arne Mason leather case. Also includes a laminated
Stamped "Leonard Mills" on headplate
The spool and frame were hand honed from a single block of aluminum
The tube is in excellent used condition with a lovely patina
Aroner 7 1/2' #5 Hunt Pattern
remain in beautiful condition
2/2 for a 6 or 7 weight line
There are also chips on the inner ebonite ring by spool
This was one of two wide drum Lightweight models made in the early to late 1960s
Written on the butt section is
7'6 2/2 for a 4 or 5 weight line
