Glastonbury Tor Sunrise

Glastonbury Tor SunriseGlastonbury Tor stands high above Sumerset, UK and the English countryside, rising out of the morning fog. This is close to where I am from and is a special place for me. On top of the Tor (thumb like hill) is the mystical St. Michael's Tower, with its long history. Legend has it that King Aurthor buried the Holy Grail underneath the Tor. All prints arrive without watermark and ready to hang.

this event happens twice a year as the relative positioning of the setting sun (due to the 23 degree tilt of the earth's axis) moves toward its highest latitudes at the summer solstice
