The lid features a distinctive graphic of a hand with anthropomorphic pigs depicted on each finger, rendered in a bold illustrative style characteristic of late nineteenth century decorative and novelty metalware. Wear is present consistent with age and use, including surface wear, paint loss, and handling wear throughout.
