One is a shield shaped Special Police badge marked "Remington Rand Inc." with an eagle crest at the top and a central seal bearing the word "Excelsior." The other is a square format Guard badge marked "The Wm. J. Burns Int'l Detective Agency, Inc." with the number 30822 in a central panel, surrounded by scroll and shield ornamentation.
