Hardy Perfect 3 1/8" Fly Reel - 1930'sFor sale here is a 3 1 8" Hardy Perfect with Dup. MKII check. All original and correct. Full length ribbed brass foot. Ebonite handle spins freely. Rim tensioner works perfectly. No cracks, dings or corrosion. Faceplate leading is worn, but still looks great in my opinion! Comes with later era Hardy case.
Serial number is #EF137 and is listed in the 1947 ledger as an 8 1/2' 3pc Browntone Fly rod
Includes the original red velvet bag

This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has an adjustable click/pawl drag with caliper spring
The line guard is set-up for RHW but this pawl arrangement also allows you to use the reel in LHW mode without the line guard
and c) the ferrule isn't oxidized in the same manner as the other sections
Easily converts from RHW to LHW
