50’s/60’s Black Striped Taffeta Sleeveless Pocketed DressMid Century modern, fit and flare dress from the late 50s or early 60s. No tags, this dress was probably home sewn. The fabric seems to be a textured striped taffeta (possibly acetate) in black and off white (has a touch of lightest pink to it, but it reads as off white, next to the black). This crisp, almost stiff fabric has no stretch to it. The fitted bodice has a high round neck and princess seams front and back. The A line skirt consists of
